I was referring more to that idiot who lumped homosexuality in with the 3 sex crimes and murder.
It certainly is more dramatic to do it that way.

The point, though, is that homosexuality is just as much of a sin as pedophilia and murder; God doesn't grade on a curve.

But saying so automatically sets some people off, which is why you can't really can't make that comment by itself without additional context or explanation.

This. This right here is what I'm talking about. Pure and utter ridiculousness. The decline in participation is not about Joel Osteen. It's about you trying to tell me my gay friend is on par with a serial child rapist and murderer in the eyes of your god.

Right, he could have lumped homosexuals with those who look at women with lust. Or masturbators. But he chose to lump them in with criminals.

Hmmm, wonder why?

Actually not. Murder is one of the top 10 as is adultery and according to the Bible, divorce is adultery so Murder = Divorce

well, technically mr christianity expert...

god will punish those who fail to repent MORE than those who sin and do not repent. peep luke 10:14, matthew 11:22 and a few other passages that could charitably be interpreted to suggest that some sins are worse than others.
