The latest Facebook Cop Video

Cop breaks glass, tasered man, handcuffed
There is no way 3 cops pull over a van with woman and children in the middle of day if nothing in up with this dude.
I just can't believe they were pulled over for no seat belt and then everything escalated to this.
So I ask, what do we not know before we reach judgement?
Video was posted by AA friend on facebook.. He mad

Happened a real long time ago.
Those people are about to get paid.
The attorney is sending the video to every media outlet possible.

Both sides were stupid. Both bear equal blame.

What has truly shocked me over the last month, some of the most intelligent people I know are falling into line with this. Baffles me.

So I ask, what do we not know before we reach judgement?
They were justified but probably should have asked the kids and mother to step out first.

They had an issue with the passenger
Now, he didn't want to say much or help them much.
He was being ok, but clearly making it difficult for the police
"I ain't go no ID, got a ticket"
sounds logical

Basically the media has successfully convinced some people that cops are going around killing black people. This is the result. People so scared of basic cooperation that it escalates to this.
Congrats lying race-baiters

One of the officers involved in the incident has been previously named in two excessive force lawsuits that resulted in settlements paid out by the city of Hammond.
They may be paying out another one.

I have to wonder if she was that concerned about those two kids when she was distributing crack cocaine when the girl was about 3 or 4 years old.

You realize the cops are in the video, not pointing the guns at them
Posted on 12/17/14 at 11:12 pm to genro
I don't think the cops dispute they pulled a gun on this guy.

We didn't see when he reached in his bag, but they may have initially had some reason to believe he could be armed. At either rate, at the point of the video, nobody in the car will simply comply with police

They had no justifiable reason to demand that the passenger show ID did they? What is the law in the state? Can the cops demand that an ID be shown by passengers in the vehicle when they are not under suspicion of breaking the law?
Certainly they can ASK that an ID be presented but not demand unless the law allows for it.

What reason did they have for asking his ID? Why do you have to comply with unlawful commands? Because it's the police giving them? Because the police don't have to know the law?
