And another last night.

quote:

A 43-year-old man was stabbed Wednesday night (Dec. 18) after being robbed and attacked by a group of eight men in the French Quarter, police said.

According to preliminary police reports, the victim and two other men, both 21, were walking in the 1000 block of Gov. Nicholls Street about 10:13 p.m. when they were approached by the group, who police say were armed with weapons.

Three men in the group brandished knives, police said, and stabbed the 43-year-old man several times. The group then robbed all three of the men and fled the scene with their belongings, police said.

There was no immediate information on the 43-year-old's condition. Police have not released any additional details or descriptions of the suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

I may stay out of the Quarter until Christmas is over.

Yep, I read that yesterday. Ruthless juveniles with no parents on the radar. If there are parents, they beat the sheet out of the kids and kick them out on the street to fend for themselves. That's how the black welfare culture in New Orleans works, another true story if you didn't know.

I'll be down there for lunch today, but you won't find me there after dark.
