If it's just for occasional use harbor freight. I wouldn't want to use them if i made my living with them. But good for around the house.

Pick up some reconditioned Hitachi tools. Work awesome and carry the same warranty as new from a box store.

What exactly are you looking for? Lowes has a porter cable combo for like $130 I think. Hard to beat that.

I get mine at Lowes. Usually have a good selection of everything you'll need and different brands, depending on how much you want to spend. I like Dewalt. Other than that, I'm slightly confused by this thread.

Here's a good deal for $150.
LINK
Same kit Grade C reconditioned for $127
LINK
Grade C stuff is always the best deal, hardly ever find the blemish that gives it that rating and still has the new-tool warranty.
Kind of a bad time since the best deals are getting bought up for Christmas gifts.

Harbor Freight! Lawd I love that place! If your a carpenter then no, but for occasional use you can't go wrong. I've got a sawsall from there that's been holding up for 4 yrs now. I've used it on corrugated metal, wood, and quartering deer. Hasn't let me down yet. Another great one is my step dads hammer drill which held up for 8-9 yrs. I have no experience with their battery tools and I'd be a little weary of going that route.

I would never buy anything from Harbor Freight that required a battery but you can find some dealson corded tools there.
I have been looking at impact drivers as well and the sales right now at Lowes or Home Depot are hard to beat.
