Sunday, March 8th at the Civic Theater.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, but you can get them early with the key word "Happy" starting today at noon. I just picked some up a little while ago.

I know he's been posted on here several times before, so I assume there are fans of his around here. Figured it was worth a heads up.

"Words, Words, Words" is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

"what" is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I think he is funny but I don't see the allure of seeing him live if he just sings, I know you said his concerts are good though. Does he do traditional stand-up or just sing?

Thanks for the heads up. I'm definitely going.

ETA: frick! I think my friend is getting married that day, and I'm expected to be in the wedding.

Dude is incredibly talented. He got his contract and first Comedy Central special at 18. I saw him at the Civic last October and wasn't disappointed.

The civic is a great venue! Saw Chris D'eila there 3 weeks ago (his last special was filmed there, fyi) and Mike Birbiglia back in March. I had something come up so I had to sell my H. Buress tix. I normally get box seats but couldn't order them from my cell today so I'm stuck in the balcony for the first time in forever.

NOLA isn't a stop on many comedy tours but this year has been one of the better ones. Took in Lewis Black at M. Jackson last month and Chapelle tonight. Thinking of pulling the trigger on Penn & Teller as well.

See ya 3/8!

"What" took a while to grow on me. But it did.
"From the perspective of God" is fricking brilliant.
How old is he now like 22 or so? He's more introspective and self aware than comics double his age. The left brain right brain bit is probably considered weird but gives u more insight to who he as a performer than some guy who tells dick jokes for 20 yrs. Art is dead as well. That song was so great. Helluva ride and repeat stuff on "what" is underrated.
He's a pretty good mix of his idols: carlin, minchin, and steve Martin.

I'm going. Can't wait.
