College for everyone is a one size fits all mentality.
What ever happened to diversity?
Carpenters, plumbers, electricians and mechanics, etc., are needed and are valuable.

Tell that to the parents of so many middle of the road kids who go to LSU, drink and drop out. How many middle class kids from the north shore are told to go to vo tech? They waste tops money.

This country is losing craftsmen.
Finding mechanics and electricians are difficult.
