Tht was terrible. Harden over Davis is an amateur take as well.

Davis is probably the 3rd best player in the NBA but has been playing like the best this year. outside of top 5 is bad take.

FWIW, I have Davis as the best overall player in the world today, based on the regular season. Otherwise, why do we keep stats now?

Well, you may think Davis is a better player, but the fact is that Harden has led a team of nobodies to a 16-4 record so far with all of the injuries they've had.

Davis' performances haven't really translated to a great record.

So that has some weight to it when talking about MVP.

It wasn't an MVP argument. It was just a better player argument. Jalen Rose seemed to think half the league was better than Davis

Harden is playing very well, but Davis has a better all-around game.

1. LeBron
2. KD
3. AD
4. CP3
5. Harden
6. Curry
7. Gasol
8. Cousins
9. Westbrook
10. Duncann

Oh. Well even still, it is arguable considering they play different positions.

I can't really say one is better than the other.

Yeah, obviously i'd take Davis. But I don't have a problem with either side

Harden and AD are playing extremely well. Right now, you can't really give MVP to anyone, but to think Kobe is playing better than AD is idiotic and only said to feed the large mass.

CP3 ahead of Harden is certainly dubious. If we are going on this season alone, Harden and Davis are 1a/1aa for my money.

Ppl really need to stop getting ahead of themselves on AD. Us he's really good right now and has the potential to be a great player but he is nowhere near the best player in the world right now. There are plenty of players that would be taken ahead of AD if it was for this season only. Not knocking him but he's playing with an all star PG , a talented scorer in TE and a decent C in Asik and probably isn't gonna lead them to the playoffs so let's cool it on the AD is great talk.

False

That just makes you an idiot. This season, he's easily been a top 5-10 player if not #1

What "plenty" of players? Curry, Harden, LeBron, KD, and Cousins
thats about it, and half of them are probably even with him depending on the team.

57.1 fg%
24.8ppg
10.6rpg
2.1spg
2.9bpg

32.7 PER
126 ortg
99 drtg

There's maybe 2-3 starters that are "MVP" caliber that have a better differential than AD. No one has a high PER. No one comes close to a combined 5 steals/blocks a game.

The "sunshine" pumping is excessive, but to say he's nowhere near the best player in the world right now is flat out wrong.

That's the problem with ppl who look at some of those created stats like offensive rating and +/- on the court. Yes his numbers are great but is it translating to WINS? No . And you forgot a few players if we are just talking bout right now instead of potential. CP3, Westbrook, possibly griffin, Howard, melo and a healthy Rose.

Must be a " sunshine pumper". Is his talent translating to wins for the team?

Yes

Do you understand what a win is? It means your team has a better +/- than the other team.

He's supposed to help us win when he's off the court?

Along with almost everyone who's watched this season

Lmao. The +/- stat was created less than 10 years ago. If Davis is on the floor and holiday goes on a 20-0 run by himself then AD's +/- will be +20 now tell me how did that have something to do with AD?

So Holiday is guarding all 5 guys on defense?

By your logic, if Davis is off the court and the other team goes on a 20-0 run, tell me how Davis had something to do with it?
