I've been to all 3 of the US cities and i agree with this. boston is cool, but definitely not worthy of top 20 worldwide. SF is like a mini new york, and honestly might not belong on the list either. NYC is by far the greatest city I've ever been to.

While I personally like Hong Kong a bit more, NYC is without question the greatest city in the world. It represents everything great and vile about our world as a whole. It's where dreams go to thrive or die. It is not only a city, it's THE city. If you had to ask every person in the world to think of the first city that pops in their head, I bet 3 out of 4 would say New York because of how instantly iconic it is. I really think no city represents an idea more than New York does, and that's why it's the greatest city ever built.
