The ALL-TIME guy for this category imho is DE Kenny Davidson. He was a pretty minor player at LSU,but had crazy-good measurables, got drafted in the Second Round (we were all like wtf who is this guy ) of the 1990 Draft by the Steelers and played seven pretty productive years in the NFL, including over 50 starts.

Karl Dunbar was far better and got drafted much later and didn't do much.

I'm just playing, good for Wright. He is a solid talent. He just happened to be behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. Pretty tough to get looks when those two all-time LSU greats are in front of you and Jeremy Hill was getting so many carries.

Just not enough to go around.

So Mett never looked past his second receiver... Fire Les/Cam!!!

Perry Riley wasn't necessarily a bust

You are kidding right? He wasn't even close to a bust matter of fact he was a stud at LB for LSU. What he has done at Washington isn't even a surprise.

Not a bust, but Jacob Cutrera was HATED by a lot of people on here, but went on to play several seasons in the NFL.

Nate Livings, an OG, sucked dick while at Lsu but ended up starting for the Bengals.

Kyle Williams played at LSU with some more talented DTS who were drafted higher, yet has had by far the better NFL career.

None of these are true busts, but all are pretty good stories.

Ryan Clark. Wasn't too liked by the fans and has played years in the NFL.

Kyle Williams was very good at LSU although you're right, I didn't expect such an NFL career

Karnell Hatcher gave him a run for his money in this category.

Back in the day Eugene Daniel was kind of the Demetrius Hookfin of his era. Went on to have a looooong pro career.

When I saw this thread title, ED was the first name that came to mind. He got burned continuously in single coverage. Opposing QB's always wanted to throw it his way.

We were surprised that he was drafted at all. He went in the eighth round, then became a solid NFL CB.

While Joe Addai was not at all an LSU bust he probably exceeded my expectations more than any other former LSU player when he got to the league

Oh are we doing that thing again where we pretend multi-year contributors like Woods and McCray are "busts" and "shitty"???

Love this game.

Alfred Blue

It just never seemed to have it at LSU. He was not a bust, but just never the stud he should have been. Now he is playing great in the NFL and should get a pretty nice contract when he becomes a free agent

You guys must be pretty young, Stan Humphries won a freaking SuperBowl as Quatereback of the San Diego Chargers.

Lol no he didn't, they lost to San Fran. He was a backup when the Redskins won.

After reading the posts and thinking back I think it is Eugene Daniel and it's not even close, he next to Peyton Manning was the longest tenured Colts player ever and played 16 years after being sub par in college despite playing with some high quality backfield mates like Britt, Jackson, etc.....he was a QB at Lee High and converted to DB by Stovall and he was burned many times, but longest tenured LSU player ever (I think)....gets my vote.
