Might be for the best, seeing as this is the only scenario that essentially guarantees a restructure of the current seeding system. The NFL could let it slip away quietly into the night if it were anyone else, but not Dallas.

Reseeding the playoff won't help the Cowboys get in anyway. It would just make the Saints a road team.
