Funny story Sam Ponder tells SI about Miles meeting her 5-month-old.

Saban would have told her to get that damn baby off the field, because people were paying attention to it and not him

Yeah then he would've won the game.

Or just signed the baby because he's just used to that sort of thing.

CBS did a piece on his family...his youngest daughter when asked for one word that describes her dad...she said...."Crazy".

And the Bama obsession continues....
I personally don't care one bit about whether my head coach is warm and fuzzy and lovable. I want my head coach to be a winner, and to not bring embarrassment to the university.
Is Saban as arse? Probably. But he doesn't embarrass Alabama, and didn't embarrass LSU. And, oh by the way, the man wins, and wins big.

Yup. I wouldn't say Les has "embarrassed" the university, but nobody takes him seriously and he's viewed as a goofball. Not exactly the face you want for your program IMO.
I couldn't give a shite if he cheated on his wife. That's his business. I want a winner, not a warm/fuzzy and ZANY coach.

If only being a family man meant winning championships

Family man was never a question about Miles. Getting the team prepared for the games is started to be a concern!

I don't care if Miles is a "family man." But you not only want to suck him for this silly story you want to throw up an American flag, too? bullshite.
You Miles pumpers are a cult. Pure and simple. Ignore the results on the field and tout the "great man" that is Les.
While you're busy on this subject, why don't you ask Gary Moeller if he thinks Miles is such a great "family" guy?

It's just a fun side story unrelated to the game. Jesus, why can't some of you people just read the story and leave it at that? Why does everything have to turn into some controversy or conflict or indictment on Les as he relates to Saban? No one is claiming this story makes Les a better or more desirable coach than your Demi-God Saban, so you can un-rustle your jimmies. Miserable fricks.
