I've graduated to a Dillon progressive, but the RCBS still gets some use.

I've asked Santa for a Dillon this year. I'll be reloading pistol rounds. Most everyone I know that reloads rifle rounds uses a single stage press. I have been acquiring a few reloading items recently and have found pistol bullets and primers but no powder. (BR area) None! Zip! I see rifle and some shotgun, but no pistol powder. I'm really apprehensive about buying a Dillon if I can't find powder. I have a lot of brass and did buy a wet tumbler. Those are the best! I never got brass that clean and shiny with dry media.

I will never go back to dry tumbling. Stainless all day, every day...

The powder is out there, but you may have to order it and/or wait a while to find it. A couple yrs ago I ordered 30# of powder from Third Generation while they had flat rate $5.95 shipping w/ the intention that some of the powders would last me a lifetime. A few mos ago I bough 8# of Vihtavuori N133 after having looked on Gunbot for it for 8 mos. If you can get some friends to go in w/ you the hazardous shipping fee won't be so bad.
