For the record, I don't believe that it's as obvious a call either way, based on the lack of a camera angle looking right down the line. Not buying the "completely obvious", "refs screwed A&M" explanation.

I think it is very, very close. The ref had the best view didn't think it was a foul. But the "obvious" foul from the camera angle we saw was just a kind of optical illusion.

And technically we're in a curved spacetime, so there is no such thing as a straight line.
