He was winning as much as any other coach has there. Nebraska fans/AD are living in the past...they'll never be a dominant program again in todays age of TV. This is just the same as the Solich firing. Its comedy.

Different conference, different era of football, and even the landscape has changed. Championship game, 4 team playoff, etc.

The coaching business is what it is. They have no allegiances and get what they can when they can.

You are also talking about a guy that told Corey Raymond if he got on the plane to interview with LSU, don't come back.

Not sure if Nebraska will do better, but they can surely stay as competitive as they have been against their better opponents.
