About which part? I hear nothing but good things about the surface pro's build quality, and the specs speak for themselves.

Lots of people hate anything about MSFT just for the sake of hating them.
There aren't too many devices out there with customer satisfaction as high as the surface pro. Now the RT version is garbage but I've only seen a few negative reviews of the Pro and they were clearly Apple people wanting an Apple product.

about it being up to par with laptops to do school work
my pro3 trumps anything ive owned
