Find me a place on the lake will ya. The wife and I are wanting to move back home in our retirement years. I got eyes and ears down there now but a couple of more ain't gonna hurt.

I've never understood public sector unions, seems like a conflict of interest to me.
Like many have said private sector unions were very much needed back in the day to help insure occupational health and safety. Today's unions are fairly toothless for the most part. I'm management now in a partially union facility. Every 3 years contract bargaining takes place (industry wide not site specific) the unions get what the company's offer, nothing more nothing less every time. They still collect dues but really accomplish next to nothing.

Bring plenty of money if you want something on the lake.
