To be fair, the same can be said of many religious prophecies.

Are you categorizing religion as part of science class, or are you dropping AGW into religion class?

I'm not convinced based on the evidence available that humans are the primary force driving the global warming trend. Sure we have an impact, but I find the factual claims of human driven exponential increases in warming rates to be somewhat spurious.

So I would say that anyone who claims to know beyond all doubt that humans are the primary cause of global warming are in the same class as those who claim to know that Jesus was God and rose from the dead, yes. Both groups infer something substantial based on limited evidence and in some instances evidence to the contrary.
