That people are getting stupider and less able to survive. Common sense is disappearing. Common decency and self respect and self-awareness and personal responsibility seem to be all but forgotten to a majority of the human race. While we might be no longer killing each other at the same rate that we used to, the tension between humanity is thick enough to feel as you walk around in public. God help us all when it snaps and the true hateful vengeful brutish nature of humanity spills forth once more.

Every major period of peace and forward progression through history was inevitably at some point met with its opposite period of depression and regression. I hope I'm not still around when the next era of death sweeps our beloved planet.
