Might as well rule out the Dell for having no discriminators. I would choose the ASUS for the better CPU (and will also have a better integrated GPU. I've seen those celerons, like the one in the HP and Dell, hit 80-90% CPU usage just trying to watch HD video on youtube).

ASUS. HP has a higher failure rate. More cheaply made. Hell, I've burned up two video editing

celerons

I deemed celerons unfit for home use based on a computer I had in 2005. I've never really looked back at them since and have always held a small grudge.

As far as hp vs Dell vs Asus, if the internals are the same (in this case they're not), look at how they're made, because the case (and how it pulls air), speaker, and screen will be the only things different, typically. Also look at the charger and charging port- most are barrel connectors with or without an elbow. There's nothing inherently better or worse about any of those companies. Everyone has owned a product from one of them that was good or bad and that curves opinion, but they're all rather equal. It really comes down to the few things above.

But in your case, since the components are not the same, I would lean to the better CPU (i3) because you actually should see rather significant performance differences based on that.
