But what's your truck worth after seven years?

Mine still has a KBB value of higher than what I paid for it on Ebay years ago.

I had a 2002 Taco - paid $18k for it in 2004 - with ~ 175k miles on it when it was totaled 6 1/2 years later (damned kids), insurance company cut me a check for $10k.

Ram, Chevy, and to a lesser extent Ford, can EABOD compared to that holding of value. I'd be lucky to get 40, 45 percent over that length of time and over 100k miles of driving.

This seriously means nothing. Local auctions, local black books, not websites are where you find what your vehicle is really worth.

I'm glad you love your truck. But I really believe Toyotas are about the most overpriced truck on the market. They are gas hogs and have interiors from the 90's.

KBB is worthless. Makes car owners feel good, but that's it.
