Yeah. In that pic, AJ has already missed his window to throw to Gordon. If he throws it at the snap of this pic, it's likely picked or at least defended.

If AJ throws to Gordon the split second before this pic, it's a TD

honestly, if he throws it to Gordon at any point, it would have been overthrown and picked off more than likely

Looks like Jennings could have run for the first down too. Oh well, I'm moving on.

AJ couldn't even see a wide open field for him to run for the first against Bama, so not seeing this is far from surprising

He could have run it up the middle ... may not have scored ... but definitely would have gotten close.

On further viewing, Gordon is angling towards the left sideline, so his body should have been between the DB and the ball. So if Jennings could have thrown an accurate pass and kept it low, good chance of a completion and 1st/TD. So the million dollar question is did AJ simply not see him, see him and decided Dural was a better option, or did AJ see him but not trust his mechanics to make the throw and chose Dural as the safer option?
