re: Brandon Harris in his own words

Harris received permission from LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette to do the interview as Miles usually allows freshmen only to be interviewed after games in which they had a prominent role.
Funny how this completely contradicts Shea Dixon's "insider insights" and his followers going around trying to claim that he got no permission.

it was done on purpose to defend the coach. propaganda that has been proven to be false.

Because Shea even said it came from a source with the team.
It's smears from the staff and Miles to besmirch this kid to attempt to deflect some criticism.
It's really pathetic.

JL fricked up Miles head to the point of no return.
Actually it was Miles who screwed up Lee by throwing him to the wolves before he was ready and then hanging him out to dry. In 2011 Lee finally got the chance to shine until he had one bad game and Miles benched him. Despite leading the team to an 8-0 start, he was never again given the opportunity to contribute, even when thug Jefferson was clearly in over his head.

I really don't want to believe this. I really don't.

My guess is Miles/Cameron are not happy with this interview because cameron probably tells harris everyday what he needs to do to:
Get better
Be prepared
Play more
and Harris went on the radio, contradicted Cameron and basically announced that he felt like he was prepared and he was ready to play. That Auburn was just "a bad game" and not an indicator of bigger problems.
this is a poor choice of words:

this is a poor choice of words:
quote:
"It didn't affect my preparation. I went through a perfect treatment process throughout the week. I felt ready to go in the Florida game," Harris said to Fletcher. "The opportunity didn't present itself where I could win that game. Totally understandable. We won the game. So I mean that's what it's all about. We won. So there weren't any complaints on my end."

Dude you need to take a step back off of Shea here and realize when it comes to team stuff, not recruiting stuff, he and every other paysite writer are literally just mouthpieces for the staff to disseminate information the way they want.

Boom, another pumper myth destroyed.
I'm not a pumper, but the evidence on the field says the kid is not correct. There were, at least, a few plays this year where he didn't seem to have the correct call.
That said, I'd take his 2 bad plays a game if he can complete a downfield pass at even a 50% rate.

yep. An interview that was proven 3 weeks ago to have been approved....

Your defense of all things miles is laughable.

sure does seem like a lot of smearing going on with brandon harris' character on here and the pay sites.
lot of bullshite
I called that out from the jump. Bob Barker was doing work though.
Someone needs to sticky this thread.

This Harris/Miles shite stinks of garbage, and if Cam wasn't here, Harris would be out the door faster than a thief in the night.

please point to where I defended Miles, thank you
I wasn't even talking about the interview when I mentioned the rumors, more about the "Harris doesn't study and whatnot" rumors
but please, carry on with your ignorance

What's even worse is that IMO, Harris has been the better quarterback ever since he stepped on campus in the spring. Remember how badly he outplayed Jennings in the spring game? I know it's just the spring game, but come on. It was night and day.

Never understood why people think Les is such a great and irreproachable guy. A grown man took it upon himself to call out an 18-year old kid for changing his mind last second. That was pathetic and while many will try to defend it, proves the type of person Les is.
Now with these team sources changing their stories they are clearly trying to cover for him by attacking another 18-year old.
Keep it classy Les. You keep calling out them kids.
