Harris had thrown 1 pass and lsu was down 17-0. The next one was a 52 yarder. Then lsu scored. Auburn scored right back. Score 24-7. Lsu' next 2 plays. Run, run. Pass then punt.

And LSU's first couple of series were all handoffs with him under center, for the most part. VERY conservative. Auburn scored fast and LSU never recovered. We want to play this game where no one scores for the first quarter and then we eventually grind it down the field and wear a team down. Meanwhile, other teams are looking to score quickly and we are trying to do 15 play 80 yard drives every time we get the ball unless we can hit a bomb downfield. There is just too much margin of error and defenses are ready for it.
