Thats still different than what you described. Les has a huge salary because he has won a shite ton of games.
He isn't even the second highest paid coach in the SEC.

You should try reading better. I did not say executive and all pro athlete contracts are incentive based, although there certainly are incentive clauses in both contracts. I actually said "most corporate executive and all pro athlete contracts are production based." The incentive based, novel concept of coaches contracts was proposed in the second paragraph. Obviously, that would be even more stringent than a production only contract.

Les' contract is so huge because of an incentive clause in his contract regarding winning the NC, and because Arkansas duped Aleva into giving him a raise when they flirted with him in 2012. It was never because of the "shite ton of games" that he won. If his contract was win based, he would be second only to Saban.

This thread is not based in reality.

Your problem should be with Aleva. He is the one that hung the albatross around our necks. You want Les to win and he laid a 1/9/12 arse whooping all over Aleva with his last contract negotiation.

So it is incentive based (winning a championship_, and if he hadn't won a ton of games, we probably wouldn't have thought it necessary to give him a raise to keep him.

So you are saying we are getting him at a deal.
