Help finding ammo

Any suggestions on where to find .35 Remington bullets? Everywhere I've looked online is out of stock and I went to Academy on Airline and they didn't have any.

I think you can use 357 mag bullets to reload .35 remington.
Are you looking for ammo or bullets to reload?

Gun bot.net online will find it for you.

That's a cartridge you should really look into reloading for. It's popular enough to keep it in factory production but it's increasingly becoming one that factories will stop producing at times in favor of maintaining production of more popular ones.

I'm beginning to realize this. I just got the gun and didn't know bullets would be this hard to come by. My dad hunted with a lever action Marlin 35 when I was growing up and I saw him kill many many deer with it. My brother ended up with the gun when my dad died then his POS ex-wife pawned it while he was deployed. My best friend came across one exactly like it a few months ago and surprised me with it. He wants me to pass it on to my son when he gets older. :CSB:

35 Remmy is tough to find. Maybe check Jim's in BR. If you come across the loading you want buy at least 200 rounds. Then learn to reload...that should keep you shooting the rifle for the rest of your life.

Thanks for the advice.

You should try an actual gun shop instead of a sporting goods store
Try jims, barking irons, or Bowies

I only went there because it was on my way home from work and they show the ammo on their website but is out of stock online. I will try Jims and Bowies. I'm going to Natchez this weekend so I may try Bowies there too.

Also, LA gun and reloading right there on old jefferson may have some in stock. They are a specialty ammo store

I plan on calling around tomorrow. Thanks for the tips.

Reloading for it would pretty easy, plenty of bullets though you might want to stay away from anything outside the 180gr - 220gr bullets meant for 35 Remington. Just about all of the popular IMR powders have loads for it as well as many others. Low-cost single stage press would be all you need aside from basic powder measures and case prep tools.

Not sure what your question is exactly.
.356" bullets are extremely easy to find. They share the same bullet diameter as .357 Mag and .35 Whelan.
EDIT: Just realized your asking about factory loaded ammo and not just bullets.

JTTF,
I wish I had good news for you, but I don't.... As already mentioned, Gunbot's gonna be your best bet; check it a couple times a day. You might also post a "Want to Buy" ad in some gun forums. My first handgun hunting barrel was a Contender chambered in 35 Rem and it was a deer killer. In a handgun forum I frequent I've read of multiple handloaders who can't find 35 Rem brass.I looked at a couple of my favorite online handloading stores and there's currently very limited availability of the better 35 Rem bulletes (180-200 gr bullets). In the crazy times we're living there are some rounds for which the factories are not making ANY brass. For example, I've been unable to find brass for the 221 Remington for 1 1/2 years or the 7-0 for > 1 year. I hope the 35 Rem is not in the same category.I wish you the best of luck.

Try Feliciana Sporting Goods in Jackson, La.
#225-634-3444. If you are going to Natchez, you will go near Jackson. Owners name is Tony.
Should read Thompson Creek Sporting Goods. Ph # is good to go.

Slim I will look at a few shops over here and Rich can look around him. If I find some I will bring them into Louisiana at Christmas. If I don't see you I will leave them with my sister for you.
