LSU fans watched from home drinking hot chocolate just like the players did. Everyone... watched.... and drank hot chocolate and sang Christmas carols. It was beautiful, except the arse kicking for 3 hours.

They have a new coach, are going in the right direction and are looking forward to the future with said coach. We have been experiencing ground hog day for the past decade and are a little worn out by it. I think the majority of the fanbase wants new blood now. I have always been a Miles supporter for the most part but I am ready for something new. This has become stale and the fanbase has become apathetic. That is the worst thing that can happen to a program. I saw it firsthand up in Knoxville in Fulmer's final years. They just had an AD who bungled the hell out of finding a suitable replacement.

They have the most delusional fan base in the country. This has been said by a lot of sports radio hosts. They were expecting Jon Gruden or Cowher to be their HC before Bret B and they weren't kidding.

Pose that question to Joe Alleva and his bunch in the Athletic Department. They have all but ruined the LSU Football Game Day Experience.

* Traveling to the game and parking.
* Obnoxious/annoying/totally irritating and too loud Piped-In music.
* Dysfunctional 1950's Les Miles offensive philosophy combined with dysfunctional QB play.
* After game navigation of the mass confusion to get home.

It's not quite as much fun and enjoyable as it used to be to say the least..........
