Is this trade rape?
ETA: Commissioner in our league is trying to trade to get Jimmy Graham...he is trading with a team that is currently last in our league at 1-9.

A 1-9 team should not be trading unless in a dynasty league IMO.

Oh sorry i smoked the peace pipe and forgot about the title. I don't know if it's legit, but I disagree with the whole no trade if your team sux thing. Ill wheel and deal to try and not finish last if I want to.

It is not an awful trade, but all teams eliminated from the playoffs should be banned from trading.

i agree that 1-9 should not be trading, with that said, the trade isn't rape. Bradshaw is putting up numbers too. Like 7-8 TDs this yr. actually has more pts than Jimmy, (and yes I know Jimmy has been hurt) Look at it like this, would you vote to veto the trade? IMO this trade doesn't deserve a veto based on the players involved, now the teams on the other hand.... quite possibly

Once out of playoff contention, a team shouldn't be able to trade. That's how one of my leagues works. All should be like this

Not necessarily true. In my league there is a high point weekly award of $25 and the team that finishes last has to buy the keg for the draft party. I almost think you have to put things like this in place to eliminate shady biz

this is what we've always done... however, this year we trimmed the playoff teams from 8 to 6 (12 team) and in an effort to keep everyone interested till the end, we added that the winner of the consolation bracket would get their entry fee back ($100). So with this addition, I feel I have to allow teams that are eliminated from playoffs to trade until deadline. I did move the trade deadline up though in hopes to eliminate any BS.
Our trade deadline is today and playoffs weeks 13-15 (we do this to lessen the chance someone gets screwed by star players getting benched due to having playoff spot locked up)
