At what point of me typing you (your argument) had no leg to stand on did you extrapolate that I said
ETA: anyone reading the thread can easily understand my position is that chief messed up by not giving beckwith the lions share of spring and fall reps. You hold the opposite opinion, which has no leg to stand on.

A football game is made up of a lot of ifs. The team that has the smallest number of ifs at the end wins and is the better team in that game. We may enjoy the positive side of the if game in the future, but since Miles and Saban have gone at it unfortunately Saban has been on top in that category.

Are you serious? We were having a two page argument over whether the dl or beckwith was the reason our defense made the biggest improvement.

I say we are better because the youngest team at LSU in 15 years should have won and will moving forward next season.

Hope you are right cause the team some were calling and still calling the greatest regular season team in CFB history DID not do it. And we are 0-4 since!! Here's to you being right

Well aren't you contradicting yourself? If Bama was the better team, it's impossible for them to lose at home to us, right?

I don't contend that LSU was better in 2011 than Bama, I contend we are better this season.

YOU have given me ZERO proof that THIS LSU team is better than THIS Bama team........ ZERO.. Just an opinion... The FACT is BAMA was the better team on Sat night when it counted most.... What proof was there after 9-6? What proof could I possibly have other than Bama scored 10 points in regulation when beckwith was out of the game?

I've never said the dl hasn't improved. I've always contended beckwith was the missing link.
The truth in this was obvious to everyone watching the game.

I would agree with that assessment. I like the Tigers against any team in the nation. The brand of football they play keeps them close in every game. What really impressed me is the ability to overcome turnovers. That defense has been unreal also.
