How do you guys feel about missions being blocked by power? Personally I would rather not have it blocked with something like that and just have them be at a higher level where I get my arse kicked. It just feels arbitrary.

Power is easy to get. Most people have tons and tons of unused power by endgame. Think I have 400 at the moment.

You need to be the Inquisitor, not some passive pussy.

come on man, how far in origins? giving up?

So here's the deal with origins...I started a warrior. Canned it because warriors suck. Started a mage, made it through the origin story, canned it due to stupid build. Started another mage, made it to lothering but realize I missed side quests because I didn't read the codex. MB died and origins doesn't have cloud storage. So I have to start over again.

I loved Origins, but I love Inquisition exponentially more.
Origins was a tad to linear and it was damn hard to get all of the best gear because there wasn't enough gold.
Also it was real easy to lose out to the top gear by progressing too far in the story before getting the smith to make it.
I prefer the open ended world of Inquisition.

This is really the only area DA:I has origins beat for me though really (outside of graphics obviously). Origins blows it away when it comes to combat/gameplay.
Origins was also much more balanced classwise, with DW warrior, DW rogue, and mages all being excellent. DA:I is really unbalanced towards mages.

I like the combat more in inquisition actually

DA:I is not even in the same ballpark in terms of easy control over combat as Origins. In Origins you could set it up for your NPC's to automatically do almost anything you wanted based on the situation. If an NPC looks at Wynne funny, have Morrigan cast Paralyze on the NPC automatically. Caster NPC gets hit at melee, auto cast mind blast and have the tank taunt automatically.
DA:I has crap NPC controls that are barely functional. It's rather amazing how far Bioware went in the opposite direction. You basically would have to micromanage everything to have good combat control. It really doesn't matter that much since DA:I is pretty easy even on nightmare as long as you are using crafted gear, but the npc control is truly turrible.

Origins was definitely deep but I find the combat more entertaining still because it's streamlined. I like the easy controls for all those easy fights just running around. The tactical camera is not as good as origins though.

Are you trying to play all three straight? I did in both my playthroughs. Only reason I haven't started third inquisition play through is because I feel I have to play the first two as well.
