I think Rand helping to get McConnell reelected will do wonders for him when 2016 turns rolls around. Having the highest ranking Republican owe you a favor will help stave off the establishment GOP attacks.

His Dad was too much of a purist to ever make these kinds of allegiances.

I didn't learn anything new about Rand in the interview.

His anti-EPA and regulations on the environment won't play well on the left. Still, he leaves the door on clean energy but it seems to come off as hedging.
