I know most of us are frustrated as hell about the qb fiasco but I wonder if TAF has let their feelings be known. Seems to me that's where the most pressure would come from that would make a difference.

IDK ... have a friend who was at one time in the top 100 although I'm not sure where he is now. Haven't seen him in a while but I can surely find out! I'd be curious -- of course he wanted Miles gone back in 2009 after the Bama game.

The only thing that will have significant impact is if revenues start to drop ie season tickets, parking, concessions etc.

Eta this is the same bullshite conversation that was happening when people wondered if we'd get to 6 wins just went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the SEC and it is obvious we are on their level. Still a solid program

#1 We're ranked #20 in the polls.

#2 Our 3 losses to teams who at the time were in the Top 10

#3 Tiger Stadium is sold out

#4 Last nights games was televised in prime time on CBS.

I'm not a TAF member, but if I was, I don't think I would be pissed.

JMHO.

I know several members that are much higher than me. Typically, most are successful and have a lot more intelligence than the crap you see on here. LSU is 7-3 in a year many termed rebuilding, and during a season in which many at one point said they would go 4-8. They lost by 5 points early in the season to current #1. They beat current #10. They got blown out at Auburn after Miles uncharacteristically caved in to the fans, and they lost a game in overtime to current number 3 in a game they completely dominated.

Miles will be here for another 10 years. He wants to leave a legacy here like Schembechler at Michigan.

1. Les has won 79% of his games.

2. Miles' teams have won 10 or more games per season 7 times in 9 completed seasons.

3. 2 National Championship games.

4. 1 National Title.

The man's job is safe for a long time.

Sure his record against Nick Saban is dismal (3-6) but the fans keep showing up to buy tickets. Money is the only thing in this world that makes people happy. If Alleva and TAF are happy, then nothing will happen.

You cannot fire a head coach who wins 79 percent of his games. No one would want the job once you let Miles go. Saban is not coming back to Baton Rouge to coach LSU.

AS frustrating as it may be to lose 3 games in a season, the past 11 seasons have been Golden. I don't like Saban and Alabama's dominance over the Tigers, but WTF can you really do about it ? Prepare and recruit the best you can. And find other things in life to comfort you.

The TAF apparently doesn't care what happens on the playing field. The TAF is a well-oiled money collecting machine. They know damn well that ticket demand is and has been through the roof. Their main focus is the balance sheet.

The upper level TAF members that I know are hard nosed realists. They don't over react like a lot of the upper deck fans do. They don't spend hours on the Rant. They don't whine and cry when things aren't perfect. They didn't get as rich as they are by letting their emotions over ride their intellect.
For the most part they understood from the outset that this would be a difficult year and generally they aren't pissed at the job Les Miles and his staff are doing.

Who cares. Joe Alleva is the issue. He doesn't want to win championships but only wants to compete. We should fire his arse and get Jeremy foley in here. I know....he won't come here.
