Wasn't MSU unranked when they beat us?

Yeah. He doesn't have a good W-L record or consistently great recruiting classes going for him...just the huge contract/buyout. That's the only thing Les Miles has going for him.

TAF members have as varied opinions on the QB's as the other fans have. Is who should be the starting QB the main thing that you think TAF members are concerned about related to this season?

say what you want, but he's not untouchable, as someone suggested. it is what it is.

yes, but they are now, and they are a very good team. LSU isn't the only team they've beaten.

Say what you will about Jennings, but he has won 80% of his games as a starter, even after last night's game is included with his totals.

As if LSU would have pulled off the Auburn game with Jennings at the helm. Or Harris wouldn't have presided over the same wins Jennings has, not to mention the game reps contributing to him being comfortable. There was nothing unique about Jennings' performances in those wins that gave LSU ab edge and ensured victory. Surely nothing that couldn't have been accomplished by Harris as well.

Les is doing fine. This is a rebuilding year. Why? He is a top recruiter...thus he loses players early to the NFL. That is the price the program pays for his recruiting skill. A lesser recruiter would present a far less quality team than Miles does.

I'm fine with Les; I'll take 10-11 wins a year. Someone mentioned Les should go without a NC within a few years. That is a stupid post - 1 or 2 key injuries can lead to a disaster for the team.

TAF knows not to frick with Les

this is what my original comment was in response to. les isn't untouchable, but what he does have in his favor, is that he has 5 years remaining on his contract, with a big buyout. he's not getting fired anytime soon, nor am I saying he should be, however imo, if he only had 2 years remaining, I think he would possibly be on the hot seat. at the end of the day, it doesn't matter because he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

The upper level TAF members that I know are hard nosed realists. They don't over react like a lot of the upper deck fans do. They don't spend hours on the Rant. They don't whine and cry when things aren't perfect. They didn't get as rich as they are by letting their emotions over ride their intellect.
For the most part they understood from the outset that this would be a difficult year and generally they aren't pissed at the job Les Miles and his staff are doing.

Who cares. Joe Alleva is the issue. He doesn't want to win championships but only wants to compete. We should fire his arse and get Jeremy foley in here. I know....he won't come here.

Please God don't let LSU have a football program run by outside forces, including the Almighty TAF members. I had enough of that in Pee Wee football.

Actually, that was before Miles listened to the fans and replaced the MLB.

I am tired of this excuse. It seems like when LSU loses 2 games, which is often, this is the first thing that is said.
