I can tell you I was told to sit down, that standing and cheering for our defense on third down was o.k. but sit and let me see the game the rest of the time.

I was right by the student section. Didn't sit at all during a defensive series and yelled the entire time. I guess you people in the shitty seats couldn't hear it very well but it was loud the whole game and no one left

I understand bro but the Ole Miss game was just as important as the Alabama game. And there a lot of LSU fans that actually hate Ole Miss more than Alabama.

People like to bitch about the student section not doing our part, but we yelled our asses off and didn't sit the entire game last night. It looked like the rest of the crowd was more interested in drinking hot cocoa than yelling on defense. If it weren't for the student section the place would have been as loud as a funeral.

I wasn't blaming the student section. They seemed like they were amped. It was just that on 3rd down, I would turn around and see everyone sitting down. I was in the southeast endzone by the way.

The crowd stayed and did their part. Our offense was on the field for 38+ minutes compared to Bama's 21+ minutes. The stadium is quiet when the offense is on the field. We had few big offensive plays. The crowd can't mix up the running calls or tackle Bama in bounds during the last 50 seconds.

Didn't mean to aim it at you. It was more for the people who start threads entitled "Our student section sucks" or "Pull student sections tickets." I would have been right there with you if people next to me were not standing up and yelling on third down. No excuse for shite like that.

I say we pump in more thug rap and we don't allow the band to play anything. That way it gets the crowd in to the game more. Why does the band even show up anymore?
