Is it all Jennings' fault?

I am by no means a Jennings supporter. I think we should be rolling with Harris. With that said, can all the blame for this offense be placed on him? I keep looking downfield and rarely see anyone open. And the drops this season have just been brutal.

with the current playbook, it doesn't matter who plays under center

He's bad but les isn't doing anything to help him

Jennings was not perfect by any stretch, but I bear no ill-will. The game could have gone either way.

My guess would be the QB limits the playbook not the other way around.

No, but I don't know why he didn't scramble on the last play when it worked well all night

and when does the responsibility fall on the coaches for not recruiting a competent QB? because at this exact moment, Harris is not the answer

this....
look at what we did when we had a competent QB last year... we slung it around pretty well....
if Harris sticks around, and considering Miles is doing everything he can to keep Jennings at the QB position that's a big if, we may end up having a competent QB, but at this point, Miles has to get over the "don't make any mistakes" shite...

He might have thought it was fourth and goal.

Why?

The only thing I can blame on Jennings is not telling Miles he just doesn't have it and would rather be the backup. But no one does that so I can't really blame him lol.
I can blame Miles for continuing to trot the kid out there game after game with his conservative approach, and by conservative I mean the playing not to lose style.

How would you know that?

He doesn't know, he's just following the talking points.
I refer to what McElroy said on SEC, the kid had a month to prepare for Iowa and flunked, and flunked in Spring ball and then has been flunking all season. It's up to the coaches to see it and replace him. And when they do it they have to play wide open and allow Harris the leash that they gave Jennings.

I watched him on national television against a defense half as talented as Alabama

Harris had the full week to prepare for Auburn and completed 3 passes. I just question the logic that says he would do much better

Jennings played worse against SHSU, at home.

I'm not disagreeing. and I wish Harris would get another shot. But to assume it would result in a win is faulty logic
and the tone the majority of the posters use suggests that

That was a bad spot to put Harris in his first start, with a defense that couldn't stop a peewee team.
More often than not, Harris has played extremely well.
Eta- I'll say it again. Imagine what this team would be right now if Harris had 8-9 games starting experience.

It all started with Vadal Alexander being a fricking idiot... My demeanor dropped at that point and my blood was boiling after that
