Random thoughts thus far.
So far the band perry and the musgraves/Loretta Lynn songs are the only two I'd classify as country
Does Tim McGraw have cancer or an eating disorder or a drug problem?
I remember seeing dierks Bentley open for cross Canadian ragweed, and although he was somewhat cheesy, it wasn't nearly as bad as tonight.
Not only do most songs have the same type lyrics (discussed ad nauseum here), but the baselines/autotune/voice inflection on all of these bro country songs are the same

quote:That's because those were the only two real country songs on the show - and how far back did they have to go to get them? Gentle On My Mind was a minor hit for Glen Campbell in 1967/68. You're Lookin' at Country was a1971 hit for Loretta.
