re: salary negotiations

i'd provide some kind of case... reiterate why you're their guy, and why their offer is low, reemphasize your desire and explain how your skillset will help them reach their goals... if they have some room, they'll probably throw you a bone, if it's reasonable..

don't forget that things like vacation can be negotiated too if they can't move on salary..

i hire a few folks a month and will move some when it makes sense..
