I have bought several different brands over the years. I think my best overall for the price battery life and ease of use is the primos truth cam 35. 72 bucks on amazon

Primos Truth Cam 35 or 46 is a great bang for the buck.

Covert mp6 is a good value. You are missing out if you don't spend the extra few dollars and go with a black flash. Since changing out all of my cameras to black flash my picture counts have more than doubled.
I'm haven't been a fan of cuddeback cameras, but I just bought the new E3 and love it so far. It is highly customizable, you can adjust the delay, burst modes, video, and time lapse mode separately for day and night.

Thanks for the info. I live about an hour away from the camp so I won't be running there after work to check cameras. Do these cameras send the pictures to you on the computer? Or how does that work?

Covert has one that emails or texts you pictures. Camera is around $300 and $50 per month for cell service. One of the guys on our lease has one and I'm happy for it. We live 6+hours away so we don't make more than 5 or 6 trips a yr so it's been great getting updates even though it's only in one spot.

We have been having real good luck with Moultrie and browning.

I could see paying that for a one time fee, but I couldn't see myself doing it for $50 a month. I looked at a few options and I believe I can get a card reader and look at pictures on my Ipad while i'm there. At least that would avoid having to bring it home and then back out there just to look at pictures.

You get what you pay for

I used to be a huge advocate of the Primos Truth Cams, but I bought several Wildgame Innovations cameras this year b/c I got some decent deals and I'm impressed. Between 3 of us we have 9 cameras out. 4 Primos and 5 WI. So far the WI are outperforming the Primos while draining less battery.
Dick's has some decent deals with free shipping too I believe

There are plans much cheaper than that. You can add a line or data share (depending on your cell carrier) for $15 a month or less.
Pay as you go is also an option where you would only pay during the months you use the camera.

I have been pretty happy with ours thus far, quality day pictures but the night pictures can get a little blurry.
