Can you use any sigle shot 12 guage with a exposed hammer during primitive weapon season this year?

The reason I was asking is b/c some woman at LDWF told me certain brands were not considered "primitive". I asked her to explain and she couldn't.

I did this two years ago and I just had to buy a .50 cal primitive weapon bc some areas I hunt only allow breach loaded primitive weapons. What a load of BS.
