You know how voter registration is in Texas, don't play stupid.

To get a student ID all I have to show is that I'm a student. The university can verify that to enrollment records. They have no need to verify my address since it's not on the ID.

To vote in Texas all you have to do is complete the voter registration form and send it in to the county elections department.

So under your plan, I can illegally register to vote, show my student ID with no address, and that's OK? Why not show my photo ID from the local swimming pool? (and yes, our local swimming pool has them for season pass holders)
