this is unmitigated bull shite. if anybody should be a miles fan, it's Jeremy hill. he kept the dude eligible and probably out of jail. and our offense was the most prolific in ages.
I think you make stuff up buster. and you don't know shite. and you are possible the most negative miles hater on this board.

Friend of mine is friends with late Mal Moore. Mal Moore was flying with Saban after the hire. He said to Saban, "I think Alabama just hired the best coach in America..." Saban answered, "I don't know about that. But I do think you got the best recruiter..."
I think that shows a humility and confidence on the part of Saban. Saban is more driven than CLM. And I've got to tell you, watching CLM at the presser after Ole Miss was amazing for me. He came across as a man who lays down his life for his team. I love the guy. And I wouldn't trade him for Saban for anything in the world. CLM is a class act. Saban too. But CLM fits our wacky Louisiana culture in a way no one else could.

I think the proof is in the pudding lol. A win is a win and we all know who has been more successful. I am biased though. I tend to dig Saban's style of coaching.
CLM has impressed me this season though. He has turned it around.
Even if CLM finds a way to beat Bama next weekend, I won't change my mind. Call me stubborn I guess. I watch a lot of college football and think Bama is the more dominant team. Bama has the wins to prove it. Vegas agrees and those dudes know a lot.

Let's revisit this topic in 5 years. I think Miles has the potential to have two more titles by then.

actually not old at all, and he is a she. It just tries to come across and old and knowledgeable. Unfortunately for her, the more she posts, the easier it is to spot.

agree with you here. No one is laughing with her, everyone is laughing at her. She honestly isn't smart enough to understand just how ignorant she sounds and how much she is disrespected on this site. It is comical to watch her then bash another poster thinking she is owning them. I think she believes that she actually is.

3000 yard passer, 2 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard rusher on the same team happens all the time in college football and LSU.
PJ gonna PJ??!!!???
FACT!!

Listening to LSU fans vilify Nick Saban is as bad as listening to hyper-partisan political hacks.
It's OK to give the "other guy" respect/credit. It's actually a sign of integrity.

With Saban, all of that is false humility - there is no larger ego in CFB, and that includes greasy cats like Petrino and egomaniacs like Bob Stoops.
The constant flirtation with other offers, the refusal get locked in, the constant demands for sweeting an already sweet salary pot - all of that just speaks to an ego that is beyond containment.
Couple that with his business practices of not allowing subordinate co-workers to address him first, look him in the eyes, his mannerisms during a game when things aren't going well...
There is an old adage - wealth and stress do not change people (well, maybe over time they do, but for these purposes, we're talking about acute changes) - they unmask them and reveal to the world the real person. Nicholas Lou Saban, Jr. (aka the angry little man from West Virginia) is one of the textbook examples of this.

One really wonders what goes on "behind" the public view. The current flap at UNC cannot be a unique situation. My original point was that Miles seems to be very comfortable in his own skin and to be a happy person compared to Saban.
As for whether either or both have taken unfair advantage, I have no knowledge, but one has to admit that 'Bama seem to get a lot of benefit of the proverbial "doubt", no?

Other than the Albert Means situation, when has Bama been slapped hard for anything? When has Bama been "underrated" relative to their performance on the field? When has a very obvious bad call decided a game against Bama (versus how many times they are on the receiving end of such a call)?
Only a handful of schools are in this category - Bama, USCw, Notre Dame, tOSU, Florida State...
