Hell you should have known it was a hack site upon first viewing.
Republicans aren't and never have been afraid of blacks as Bill espouses, but rather afraid of the medias manipulation of what they say to black audiences, but that can be overcome in todays world of blogs, social media and conservative news, in the 70's and 80's the liberal press would always distort the conservatives message by cutting and splicing (like MSNBC still does today) the message, always painting the message as condescending, ignorant or uncaring etc. etc / even racist.
So conservatives/republicans stayed away.
EVERYONE KNOWS THIS.

No, republicans are scared that courting the black vote will scare off the white Christian bloc that is a strong hold of their constituency.
