Funny, I was thinking about dumping att and going to Verizon. Care to share why you're going to att?

Thought the consensus was that Verizon was awesome and AT&T was the scourge of the world.

I think the consensus is Verizon>Att>Sprint

To answer all the questions, in Oklahoma, my coverage has been nothing short of piss-poor with Verizon. I also have an iPad with ATT coverage.
Almost weekly I'll be driving somewhere outside of OKC, within the state and have either no coverage or half a bar of 1x coverage. Maybe a bar or 2 of 3G if I'm lucky. I sometimes have to drive to Amarillo. On INTERSTATE 40. Fairly large interstate I'm told. There are literally FIVE DEAD SPOTS for my Verizon phone.
Meanwhile, I check my ATT iPad. About 95+% of the time it's running 4g with 3+ bars in the exact same spots Verizon of FUBAR.
Verizon may be better for a lot of areas, but not Oklahoma.

I just want to hug everybody.
Drove all the way to Elk City, OK.
ALL 4G ALL THE TIME.

I have the opposite situation, as I can only get service on base (IN WASHINGTON DC) with Verizon. I didn't mind AT&T when I had them, except my phone was unusable at work. I recently switched to Verizon, and their customer service is nothing short of awful. The handset I bought from an authorized dealer tanked after 20 days (6 days after the trade in date) so Verizon tried to send me a new phone. They have now sent it to the wrong address TWICE, even after I insisted on the first call not to send it to my home of record. I'm literally on hold with their tech support for the 4th time this week.

Holy shite.
And yeah, coverages are gonna be different for every state. Just hard to comprehend they I could drive up and down Interstate 40 and have multiple dead spots with Verizon. And have 4g about 25% of the time.
