Old Timer Leaving Early Strategy

I had an interesting conversation yesterday with a long time Tiger fan that I buy tickets from. He is in his mid 60's and has acquired 2 sets of season tickets over the years. Yesterday we were talking and he proceeded to give me his strategy for leaving games early to beat the traffic (regardless of the outcome of the game). He said he has used this technique for years and it works every time.
This guy hardly knows what the internet is, much less look at this message board, so he has no idea that it has been a hot topic on here this season. However, I thought it was interesting that this "old school" guy had this mentality. I thought it was only the new generations that were ruining all of the traditions.
I have never joined in the "leaving early" discussion on here and hate to even bring it up again, but I thought it was funny. Now please proceed to rip me a new one because I'm sure everyone on here is so much smarter and cooler than I am.

Why don't you tell us the strategy, then we can bash you on principle as well as fact.

does he leave his seat and catch the endings of a game somewhere from another view point in the stadium so he can rush out the gate? pretty gay

If you think an old timer is a man in his mid 60"s
How young of buckaroo are you?

Biggest game of the year to date last week. Stayed the whole game, and was at home in lafayette 2 hours after the game ended. If you go knowing you'll leave early, just stay home

No, a buddy of mine has season tickets and a parking pass. Leaves at halftime and skedaddles home to Shenendoah area to catch end of game on TV.

I saw the last play and was on the Miss River bridge within 15 minutes. Do what makes sense in your own case, and don't expect 102,321 people to have the same constraints and/or preferences.

Yes leaving events early was just invented recently.
Gawd what a dumbass.
