You don't schedule weddings in the Fall on a Saturday...ever. Even if you do due diligence and schedule it on a bye week, things can change and suddenly the schedule moves and your wedding in on a game day. Or, years layer, your anniversary falls on a game day and you have to choose between it and some anniversary thing.

There are 8 other months to choose from...pick one of them.

When is LSU gonna not have it's bye week before Bama and when is Bama gonna not be at beginning of November.

Please hold your breath until either of these change.

Since the 1960's we have played Bama on the first or second Saturday of November. You can set your watch on it. It happens every damn year. If she was such a big fan she would know about this.

this is the biggest problem

it isn't just that you are being rude to your guests since they'd rather watch a game they care passionately about - it is also that you're being inconsiderate of your husband for every year that follows.

every anniversary now conflicts with something he cares about. this isn't about him being self centered. it is about her being oblivious
