Well, you didn't catch anything on fire, so be thankful and move on. Plus, that grill is probably very clean now. You didn't help global warming any, though!

My roommate in college forgot to turn ours off one night, we woke up and went for spring break the next morning. That fricker took 3 weeks to go and swap out the bottles.

It's a direct gas line to a built in grill so there is no tank. When I woke up I immediately remembered.

Grilled one night, then had people over the next night for the LSU game. My buddy went out to have a cigarette, and when he got close to the grill, he looked at me and said "You cooking?"
It had been on for close to 24 hours at that point. I think I had turned the burners down, but left them on in case the chicken was undercooked or something.

I did it on a cheap charbroil grill I used to have. Melted the burners. I've also done it on my new Weber with no consequences other than no propane left

not all night, but i did see my backyard glowing one night about an hour after dinner
the grease pan had ignited and the siding on my house nearest the grill still doesnt look right bc it was so hot
when i went to turn off the gas, the knobs were mushy bc they were so hot
i ended up having to throw the grill away bc all the knobs and hoses were ruined

I am going to check the burners when it cools off. Hopefully I didn't melt them ...only a 2 month old grill.
