It doesn't take many. 2 or 3 gaining 10-15 yards will force the defense to adjust to the inside, allowing the RBs to get outside later from the same formation.
You don't just come out running to the outside against a defense as fast as Mississippi's.

In your dreams.
In all honesty, the play on which Magee fumbled was an inside pitch, and it went for nice yardage. Aside from that, when has that play gained 10-15 yards in this or any other game?
