I'm sorry I just don't see him as effective. At least not anymore than any other college QB can be effective. Our running game is our offense. Jennings isn't keeping anyone balanced. When you have 8 completions and 2 interceptions you are not improving. ULM and Sam Houston State are the only games he has had over 50% completion and he threw a pick in the ULM game. He is improving on his PA fake is about the only improvement I see. Difference between him and Harris seems to be the ability to get the right play called and run on the field at this point.

He has become a bigger part of the running game, with effective fakes as you mentioned but also as one of the better blocking QB's I've seen at LSU. On the inside pitch, he routinely cleans out the weakside LB over the past few games, something Mett could never be accused of doing. He throws a nice deep ball. Would like to see that a couple more times a game, if the play is open. The other night he threw one into double coverage for some reason. I say that because he has rarely thrown deep in other than single coverage.
