Miles offensive philosophy lends itself to a great defense
Running the spread does not always lend itself to great defense
I saw NFL teams all day run the exact same system as LSU. If QB play is such a problem, isn't it smart to limit the QB?
Against Seattle, Denver ran two TE, two WR, one back for three quarters and struggled. In the 4th they spread the field, went three wide and moved the football. Denver has manning, we have jennings. Big difference
I think cam and miles run a slimmed down pro offense and take shots downfield when they can.
They don't have the practice time preseason like a pro coach does so they have to improve QB play with game reps and in season practice. This is a slow process unless the QB is special.
