You know i will not stray away. All of the points i've made this season have been very valid, and very vindicated. And i have no reason to hide from them.

saying Brees doesnt give a shite anymore isnt very valid.

Are you not watching the same post game interviews and pressers as i am this season?
There's no intensity. No spark.
Of course the guy still cares. Of course he still tries. But do i think he is trying nearly as hard as he did a few years ago? Do i think he is nearly as invested in the team and in the preparation as he was a few years ago? Absolutely not. He's getting older, he has 4 kids, he has a worse oline. There's plenty of reasons why his play might not be as stellar. I'm not discussing that. Mentally he is not as invested. Neither is Payton.
It's understandable. Throwing yourself completely into your profession for 5 or 6 years wears on anyone. No one can sustain that kind of commitment forever. And especially now he has 4 young kids he wants to be there for.

all of this just sounds like part of being a normal human being. so are you saying we should part ways with him and get a young kid who can give fiery post game interviews?
i dont give a flying frick how he conducts himself in interviews, as long as he can still win games. he has cost us some, but not all. doesnt mean you just abandon the fundamental piece that makes this team work. it was proven on Sunday. he is still absolutely the best option to win. we are one game away from leading the division. cheer up.

it is. i said that.

I have not one said we should trade or get rid of Brees. that would be delusional. The guy is till Drew Brees. He's still elite and still better than most. But when pointing out his issues or his decline on this board you are met with obnoxious defensive comments.

Well that has certainly been questionable at least a couple times this season.

I've never said this.

I've never contradicted this.

Yup.

I'm happy. I was in the Dome on Sunday. Fantastic game. Pointing out that Drew is not as good as he once was doesnt mean i want him traded, or im depressed, or we should cut him. Just discussing the dude's issues. He did lose us 2 games this year. It was worth discussing.

Oh look, a tard who thinks franchise qb's are the coming of the messiah. Stfu. Qb's make mistakes. That's a real person you are watching play football. He also has a life outside of football along with a family. Hard to believe I know, but trust me he is a real person.

So did you read any of my posts at all?

Why? Because some of yall think i am on a decline or not as good as i once was?
Posted on 10/28/14 at 5:56 pm to Breesus
Yes, I did. Never post again and that would be great .

I know you or someone will jump all over me about how perfect the offense always is and the defense lost us these games, but:
Without his completely unnecessary interception in the fourth quarter while we had the lead in the lions game we very well may have won that one. Though Payton's playcalling gets to share the blame for this one.
And in the Browns game Brees threw a pick 6 and took a sack which knocked us out of field goal range.

Because i said this:

When did i ever say something which you could infer to mean i dont think he's a real person?

You have terrible reading comprehension. I've put plenty of blame on the offense, especially the offensive playcalling and interior blocking.
Brees should have cost us the Tampa game, but his arse got bailed out.

That is reasonable

Completely unreasonable to put the Browns game on Brees. Anyone who puts that pick 6 on Brees knows absolutely nothing about football. The tackle slipped allowing a blindside hit 2.7 seconds after the snap as he let the ball go when he was stepping up into a clean pocket
And now you're blaming him for taking the sack on the 3rd and 5? Guy came through unblocked

Noones alter. Just because it took me years to actually register on this forum I'm someone's alter? You clearly can't read well. I'll leave you alone now because you may be a little retarded.

If he says it's a must win and we lose everyone might throw in the towel. There's really no right answer to that question.

I'm the one with bad reading comprehension? I specifically said "you or someone." Didn't have to be you. But let's not argue about something stupid like this. Let's stay on point:

Thank you

Other parts of the team made mistakes. But he certainly played a role in us losing that game.
quote:

The first couple of games this season Brees made some very questionable decisions with the ball. He was lobbing up shovel passes to anyone when going down, bombing a duck into double coverage, etc... It was bound to happen and this was the moment it did.
He didnt make any of these mistakes in the Green Bay game. He's a great QB, but early on in the season he looked like dog shite. Some of that is Payton being a retard and some of that is the oline, but he deserves some blame and criticism early this season. I stand by that.
quote:

Late in the game. Needing a field goal. In field goal range? And Brees saw that guy coming? Yeah he shouldve thrown it away.

and that Browns INT was not one of those plays. It was a blindside frickup where our LT literally tripped

I don't disagree with that. He needs to take a sack sometimes, like at the end of the Browns game when the oline/PT just misses an assignment

If we were in FG range, we would have ran the ball there. I don't think Payton trusts Graham from 55 yards outside
His career long is 53

I don't take issue with the rest of your post, but this? Come on man. Payton has called shotgun empty set within 5 yards from the endzone multiple times.
He has called passes with the lead in the fourth quarter on first down for no reason.
If you're going to make any argument, don't say Payton would have ran the ball if it was the right thing to do.
