For leveling height, see my earlier post. I wouldn't go any higher than 2" though. In your other thread you can see my truck sitting almost level with my boat (3000lbs) and I'm at the stock rake like you. If I had a 2" level I would be nose high when towing (learned the hard way in my last truck)

I don't think it matters that much - I get flashed just as much now as I did before the level with my factory HIDs...People need to understand when fog lights are on, hi beams are not....

measure from the center of the hub to the finder. Subtract the distance from the front from the rear. That will be the height you need to level.

I'd go with the adjustable 5100 shocks.
What's the deal with these shocks? You can actually adjust the height of them? I put some adjustable Rancho 9000's on my F250, but they were just adjustable for ride and stiffness.

I have zero squat when pulling a 18' surface drive and pull a 24' maybe twice a year, so I'm not concerned.

Yes they are fully adjustable from no adjustment (stock height) up to 2.8" above stock height(I think). All you would need is a good coil compressor and replace your factory shocks in your strut assembly with these.
ETA - they say using these shocks does less component damage over time - ball joints etc..

]Not at all.
Here are a couple pics of mine so you can see what I'm talking about with the 2.5"

Your nautical star is sitting on a tandem axel trailer with about 5-7% tongue weight. I have a single axel at about 10-12%. Your trailer is taking more weight.

You will be fine. Depending if you have tandem or single axel trailer you may he a tad nose high. Nothing problematic. More personal preference than anything

i would get a 2", i had a 2" on my fx2 with all terains and it sat perfect. i pull a 20' xpress bay boat and it was never nose high. i didnt adjust my headlights so i got flashed alot.
i just got a 14' fx4 and plan on putting a 2" on it as well, and im going to adjust the hids(they are bright as frick). good luck on install. its not bad at all but i just got the new truck and dont feel like doing this so ill get it installed somewhere.

Yea. I put a 3" on m 07. 2wd. Didn't realize how tall it was. Was nose high with no load on it. Had to build 1.5" blocks for the rear. Now it sits just about level, maybe rear a quarter inch to half inch high. With a heavy enough loud it still goes nose high, but with the boats I normally pull it's fine.

You should reaim. I have not been flashed since I reaimed my lights. I got flashed some with stock lights after the level. Flashed a lot with HIDs and level.
Don't be a dick. I hate when cars that have been in a wreck and fixed don't have the lights aimed right.

How do I adjust them?
Posted on 10/23/14 at 1:02 pm to PapaPogey
im not 100% sure about the new fords but on my previous trucks (non-fords) it was some screws behind the light housing under the hood. Turn on counter clockwise for up and vice versa...

Not sure on the screws to turn to move them, google that, but you only need to worry about the vertical adjustment.
Pull your truck up close to a wall. Real close. Turn lights on. Put a line of masking tape (horizontally) right in the middle of the light beam for each light.
Back up to 20-30' from the wall. Adjust the headlights down to where the top of the beam is even with the line of tape, not above.
Done.
Easier to do this in the evening/night, for obvious reasons.
